Amy, Jaydon and Emily in their first attempt at competing at team kata narrowly missed first place with a strong showing at Hawkesbury Martial Arts Tournament Emily third in Individual Kata and Amy third in Kumite with Paige a hard fought 2nd in her Kumite event it was a great day for all and we would like to thank Daniel Spice Sensei for his invitation

Iris Swartz trains shotokan karate in Germany Iris is a postgrade Pshycology student & UWS Karate Club sports scholarship holder (that KAJ Goju Ryu Karate do Seiwakai sponsors each year) shows her skills against Alison Peachy from Insinryu Karate the overall winner of the event and mother of two. Iris while in Australia trains with Tony Hails (AKF Tecnical Coach) at Menai south of Sydney.
