Description:
The Shiseikan Karate Club was first set up in 1980 at the Christchurch YMCA by Sensei Pat McGregor, a 7th dan Renshi Shihan, graded by the Japan Karate-Do Federation Goju Kai. Pat is supported by many Japanese graded coaches.

Training is held five days a week at various Dojos around Christchurch (see time table).

Shiseikan NZ, under JKF Goju Kai NZ, is a truly international Organisation involved with many other countries which are members of the JKF Goju Kai group. Being a member presents club members with the opportunity to travel and train with many of the masters of today's Karate.

Shiseikan is a very active club and a strong member of Karate NZ, having produced many outstanding athletes.

JKF Goju Kai NZ is also represented in Tologa Bay by Les Harding, 4th dan black belt.
